加入小米、辣椒粉、百里香、牛至和 1杯疗愈汤或水。搅拌直至混合均匀。煮17到20分钟,每隔几分钟搅拌一次,并根据需要添加更多的疗愈汤或水。
小米煮熟后,拌入新鲜的欧芹或罗勒。如有需要,可以加入盐。即可享用。
提示:
蘑菇切片前请用温水或热水彻底清洗和冲洗。请避免使用黏糊糊或腐烂的蘑菇,这是蘑菇氧化和老化的迹象。

If you’re a fan of risotto, try this upgraded version made with millet, which is a superior grain to rice for someone who is working on healing. It’s also a tasty grain with a slightly nutty flavor. Mushrooms, onions, garlic, and herbs add healing nutrients and flavor to this meal that is best enjoyed for dinner alongside a leafy green salad.
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1½ cups thinly sliced mushrooms*
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 cup millet
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried
1 tablespoon fresh oregano or 1 teaspoon dried
3 to 4 cups Healing Broth (recipe) or water
1 cup loosely packed fresh parsley and/or basil, finely chopped
¼ teaspoon sea salt (optional)
Place a large ceramic nonstick pot on medium-high heat. Add the onion and mushrooms and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until softened.
Add the garlic and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium-low.
Add the millet, paprika, thyme, oregano, and 1 cup of Healing Broth or water. Stir until evenly mixed. Cook for 17 to 20minutes, stirring every few minutes and adding more Healing Broth or water as needed.
When the millet is cooked, stir in the fresh parsley or
basil. Add the sea salt if using and stir.
Serve immediately.
*For the mushrooms, wash and rinse thoroughly with warm to hot water before slicing. Do not use slimy or decaying mushrooms. That’s a sign of oxidizing and aging.
TIPS
When you’re choosing between Healing Broth and water for the ingredients, keep in mind that the broth will produce a richer flavor. Store-bought vegetable stock isn’t called for because it’s very difficult to find a variety that’s free of oil, salt, natural flavors, and/or other additives. For convenience, make a batch of Healing Broth in advance and freeze it (consider pouring into ice cube trays for easy thawing) so you have it on hand for recipes like this.
While high-quality sea salt or mountain rock salt is an optional inclusion in this recipe, the recipe is more healing without salt. Over time, you may wish to reduce or exclude the salt
